Abstract

Biometrics-based personal identification is regarded as an effective method for automatically recognizing a person’s identity with high confidence. Biometrics is progressively being employed for secure authentication of people and creating its presence felt in our lives. It uses an individual's physical or behavioral traits to spot them. In this paper, we tend to propose the design of a biometric system used for an unconstrained and supervised palmprint recognition system based on SIFT features. The real-time implementation of our planned work has been carried out in the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B. Experimental results validate the potency of the planned technique in the accurate detection of palm prints. This proposed project will help the corporates to ensure security in the technological world.
