Abstract

New data on the rare decays $$K^ + \to \pi ^ + \nu \bar \nu $$ and $$K_L^0 \to \pi ^0 \nu \bar \nu $$ and their description within the Standard Model are considered, refinements of relevant parameters being taken into consideration. Prospects for further experimental investigations into new physics and searches for its manifestations in these flavor-changing neutral-current processes are discussed. The neutral-kaon decays K L 0 → π 0 l + l − and K L 0 → l + l − are also examined.
