Abstract

The rare exclusive dileptonic Λb0→nℓ+ℓ−(ℓ=e,μ,τ) decay is investigated in the general two-Higgs-doublet model of type III. In this model the mass of the charged Higgs boson mH, and the coupling vertices λtt and λbb are the only free parameters. The transition form-factors of the weak decay hadronic matrix elements are obtained based on the transition form-factors calculated within the framework of the relativistic quark-diquark picture. With these transition form-factors a significant enhancement to the differential branching ratio, total branching ratio, and leptons forward-backward asymmetries is achieved compared with the standard model predictions. Measurements of these quantities will provide a clear conjecture for new physics arising from the additional Higgs doublets. The attained orders of the branching ratios in this work are indicating that these channels can be investigated at the upcoming upgraded LHCb and/or at the Belle II detector in the near future.
