Abstract
The formfactor of the rare decay B→ K ∗γ is calculated with the help of the QCD sum rule method for the three-point correlators. Using this formfactor we found that when the sensitivity of the measurements is raised 3–4 times, one could either obtain an upper limit on m t , or detect the decay considered.
