Abstract

A 79-year-old man with history of recurrent melanoma underwent endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) exam for hypermetabolic activities of the pancreas seen on positron emission tomography scans. He received nivolumab therapy for 12 months. At 6 months mild hypermetabolic activity was noted at the pancreatic head. No intervention was done because of patient’s lack of symptoms. At 12 months new uptake at the pancreatic tail in addition to increased activity at the pancreatic head were seen (Figure A, arrows).
