Abstract

Abstract Hydroxyapatite nanowire (HAnW), a novel synthesized biocompatible material without any transition metals, was applied to catalytic degradation of antibiotics. Importantly, tetracycline (TC), a common drug, could be rapidly adsorbed and catalytically degraded by HAnW, and the removal reached 85% within 5 min at room temperature.
