Abstract

The various characteristics of rapidity of secondary particles in interactions at cosmic-ray energies (\ensuremath{\sim} ${10}^{12}$ eV) have been investigated. The features studied are the dependence of maximum-rapidity-gap value on primary energy and multiplicity, the rapidity-difference distribution, and the rapidity distribution of the secondary particles. The results have been compared with the predictions of the multiperipheral model.
