Abstract
Abstract A rapid micro screening technique is presented for determining direct available P2O5 in fertilizers containing no organic or condensed phosphates. This modification of the macro color method uses microliter pipets, automatic dispensor pipets, and a double-beam spectrophotometer equipped with a sipper system and printer. The method combines speed and simplicity with accuracy and precision and does not require specialized automated equipment.
