Abstract

The effect of hardening performed with the use of electric contact heating on structural transformations that occur under conditions of rapid heating and subsequent aging in precipitation-hardening alloy 36MKhTYu is studied. It is recommended to use combined aging after rapid hardening in order to remove the structural inhomogeneity inherent in this alloy.
