Abstract

A new technique of computer-assisted automated measurements and analyses for solar cell output characteristics has been developed. A curve fitting method developed in this work permits the estimation of solar cell parameters such as the saturation current, n value, etc. A quantitative correlation between these parameters and fabrication conditions is discussed. This automated system also enables us to calculate the real photocurrent from the output characteristics and more precise analyses about the solar cell output parameters are discussed.
