Abstract
Aluminium in eluates of 99mTc generators can be determined spectrophotometrically or compared visually with a standard solution to determine whether the aluminium content is greater than, equal to, or less than a specified concentration. Eriochrome cyanine R and hexadecylpiridium chloride are used to develop the colour in an ethylenediamine buffered system at pH 7.3
