Abstract
Patients with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) often require pharmacological treatment for symptom control. Overdose of stimulant or non-stimulant ADHD drugs is relatively common among children, adolescents and adults, and is associated with major morbidity. Rapid supportive care, including cardiovascular and respiratory support, as well as individualized drug-specific treatment, is essential for individuals who have taken an overdose of an ADHD drug.
