To the Editor: Intravascular large B-cell lymphoma (IVBCL) is a rare extranodal B-cell lymphoma characterized by neoplastic lymphocytes localized to vessel lumina. 1 Cho H.G. Sheu S.L. However, the diagnostic yield and recommended biopsy methods differ. In this study, we performed a retrospective analysis of dermatology consultations from June 2015 to March 2021 from the Yale University Dermatology consultation database, accompanied by a review and synthesis of recent literature. Eighteen consultations for the diagnostic question of IVBCL were identified, and a total of 31 skin biopsies were performed by the dermatology service on 14 patients. The methods for the literature review are described in Supplementary 1 (available via Mendeley at https://doi.org/10.17632/7gr2psgpv7.1).
