The White House has announced it will not be building the Death Star, the famous Star Wars orbiting weapons system; a giant squid has been caught on film; researchers determined why yellow jacket and bumblebee wings are both successful; and scientists have explored ways to introduce healthy gut bacteria to those with Clostridium difficile via a "fecal transplant."
