Abstract
The equation of motion of the spin density matrix is treated for nuclear magnetic resonance with random excitation by a δ-correlated Gaussian noise process. Lagged cross moments between the transverse rf magnetization response and powers of the input are derived and their relation with deterministic multidimensional resonance spectra is discussed.
