RAND research finds partial link between child suicide increase, opioid crisis

Abstract

Following a decades‐long general decline in suicide rates among children ages 10‐17, an unprecedented increase in those rates occurred over a seven‐year period, driven in part by the nation's opioid crisis, suggests new research by the RAND Corporation.
