Abstract
Raman spectroscopy is one of the underutilized techniques in undergraduate chemical education. Recent developments in laser technology and its applications to Raman instrumentation have made Raman an extremely useful and powerful analytical tool. The article describes some of the applications of Raman in teaching chemistry at the undergraduate level.
