Abstract
Raman spectra have been recorded for diglycine sulphate and ammonium sulphate double salt crystals (DGSAS) at room temperature. From a comparison between our results and the i.r. and Raman spectra of the amino acids and ammonium sulphate crystals, the functional groups have been ascribed to particular positions of the bands in the Raman spectra of DGSAS crystals.
