Abstract

In France, the geography of crime has just born. In the Angers urban police area, values of use and symbolic values of criminal space are defined. At first, temporal distribution and spatial expressions of deviants acts are scrutinized. Data of Police and of AURA allow to suggest a new vision of Angers delinquency. Then, economic and spatial dimensions of deviance are enterred upon with study of deliquents. Last but not least, the investigation realized in spring 1995 show in a flattering light prevailed role of social integration, of sexe, of age and of residence's space for perception of insecurity feeling.
