Abstract

The results of analysis of the conditions of operation of one of Russia’s early pilot high-temperature membrane apparatuses DB-100 for producing special-purity hydrogen (99.9999–99.999999 vol. %) are reported. The interrelation of the basic technological and design parameters is expressed by a set of equations. A numerical model is used to optimize the operating parameters of the DB-100 membrane apparatus.
