Abstract
Rainfall-runoff erosivity factors, R, were calculated and plotted using the once-in-two-year, six-hour rainfall isohyetal maps for the islands of Barbados and St. Lucia. These data were previously unavailable for the two islands. The largest values of R in Barbados and St. Lucia are 9000 and 12 000 MJ.mm/ha.h.yr (529 and 705 hundreds of ft-tonf.in/ac.h.yr), respectively.
