Abstract
The problem in this research is the variety of language and puns used in the Ini Talkshow program on NET TV. This study aims to describe the variety of language and puns on the Ini Talkshow program on NET TV. This study uses qualitative research methods and listening methods. The data source for this research is the Ini Talkshow program on NET TV. The data collection technique used free-involved listening techniques and recording techniques. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the use of various languages in the Ini Talkshow program includes standard and non-standard language varieties. The most widely used language variety is the traditional language variety in the use of this variety of language, the most common type of pun is found in the kind of phonological pun.
