Abstract

This article focuses on the career of Rafaela Sánchez Aroca (Córdoba, 1869 - Barcelona, ​​1939), as plastic creator, art professor and cultural disseminator. Despite her prolific trajectory, she remains poorly known. In sum, this essay aims to discuss the contributions made by women in the production and dissemination of the plastic arts, in early twentieth-century Spain.
