Abstract
<p style='text-indent:20px;'>We study Radon measure-valued solutions of a Cauchy-Dirichlet problem in one space dimension that describes nonlinear convection-diffusion phenomena in heterogeneous media. Well-posedness results are proven, which extend those previously known for the space homogeneous case.</p>
