Abstract
In order to make clear the relation between DNA content per nucleus (or chromosome) and radiosensitivity of autopolyploid series and/or allotetraploid species in Oryza, the present experiment was designed. In autopolyploid series, DNA content per nucleus increased with increasing polyploidy, and that per chromosome showed no difference, while radiosensitivity decreased with increasing polyploidy. In allotetraploid species (BBCC, CCDD), the relation between both of them was not clear.
