Abstract

Calorimetric applications and instrumentation in nuclear science and technology are reviewed, primarily for the period since 1949. Principles of calorimetry are discussed; applications are categorized as measurement of radionuclides, gamma or particle beams, local absorbed dose from gamma fields and reactor radiations.
