Abstract
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) has been developing from single-working mode to multi-working model. And the antenna pattern becomes hundreds and thousands, which causes a huge burden on radiometric calibration. Using antenna models to replace the measured antenna patterns in radiometric calibration can greatly simplify the calibration duties. This paper tries to find the relationship between antenna model accuracy and radiometric calibration accuracy. Based on the antenna structure and active phased array theory, antenna model with reasonable error can be simulated, and a kind of antenna model accuracy closed mathematics expression can be achieved. Using antenna model with error in radiometric calibration campaign, and statistical the calibration accuracy in different antenna model accuracy, the relationship between the two can be derived. The relationship is linear, coinciding to analysis result.
