Abstract

Over a decade ago in his keynote address at International Society of Radiology meeting in Beijing, Philip Palmer, MD [1], discussed the many challenges in radiology education in developing nations. China remains a developing nation in many ways, but much has changed in the intervening 12 years. A visit to any large urban medical center in today's China reveals radiology departments replete with state-of-the-art equipment, including 3.0 tesla magnetic resonance imaging scanners and multidetector computed tomographic scanners.
