Abstract

INTRODUCTION RADIOCAKPAL dislocation represents 0.2 per cent of ail dislocations. It has been associated with fracture of the dorsal or volar lip of the distal radius, or with fracture of the radial or ulnar styloid processes. We report an unusual case which included avulsion of the radial styloid, together with an oblique fracture of the distal shaft of the ulna. A mechanism is postulated for this pattern of injury, which has not previously been reported.
