Abstract
ABSTRACT Radiocarbon ages have been determined for five grain-size fractions of an unconsolidated carbonate sediment from Andros Island, Bahamas. These ages along with carbonate mineralogy of three size fractions suggest that some old, perhaps Pleistocene, carbonate composes part of the sediment.
