Abstract

In the article on the basis of archival sources the organizational principles of the formation of the broadcasting of Transcarpathia from 1945-1991 were highlighted, peculiarities of editorial work are analyzed, the main aspects of the information space of the region are revealed. In the course of the study, general science (system analysis, analogy and modeling), historical (historical-comparative, chronological, comparative) methods of research, as well as a method of content analysis and statistical processing of information were used. The article is based on the principles of historicism and objectivity. In the Transcarpathian region in 1945-1991, the radio was entirely commissioned by the state and the Communist Party. All editions, all broadcasting programs, ranging from informational - to artistic or advertising, were formed to propagate Soviet ideology, in accordance with the objectives and objectives of domestic and foreign policy. During the Soviet period, the radio worked in the absence of a competitive information environment. In general, the only owner of the broadcasting and information space was the state, which, in order to establish and strengthen the political regime, exercised total control over all aspects of public life, including information flows. The state monopoly in the information space did not stimulate the management of the radio station to the development of new technologies, the expansion of audience segments, the content attention of the audience. The genre range of Transcarpathian radio programs was generally the same type and pattern, but evolution from the notes and reports gradually evolved - to radio views, essays, round tables. By content, the audio content is clearly differentiated into two groups: the first one is informational, the second is entertaining. The communication strategy of broadcasting provided a weak link with the listeners, which was carried out only through correspondence and so-called listening conferences. In general, the history of broadcasting evolution in Transcarpathia is an integral part of the socio-historical model of Ukraine's development, determined by socio-economic, political, ethnic and geographical factors. The article substantiates that the specificity of broadcasting is historical in nature, its purpose is not only in the prompt reporting of objective information to the listener, but in the construction of a certain information reality in order to manage society.
