Summary o.1.The factors responsible for sacrococcygeal pilonidal sinus are discussed. 2.The technic of Z-plasty is described and a series of twenty patients treated by this method is reviewed. 3.Arguments are presented supporting the logic of the Z-plasty procedure as a method for eliminating the causal factors of pilonidal sinus.
