Abstract

The radical cation of octaisopropylcyclotetragermane, ( iPr 2Ge) 4, generated by the pulse radiolysis technique showed two transient absorption bands at 305 and 435 nm. These transient peaks were quenched with diphenylamine and triphenylamine as radical cation scavengers.
