Abstract

Theoretical predictions for the radiative muon decay process μ a ̊ e + ν + ν + γ are given in some detail. The differential transition probability for polarized muons is obtained, and from it are calculated the angular correlations of electron and photon, the photon energy spectrum, and the branching ratio. The probability for internal conversion of the photon is estimated. The consequences of an intermediate vector boson are discussed.
