Abstract

The spectrum of the photon and the electron emitted in a radiative muon decay mediated by a vector boson is calculated. The deviations of the spectrum from that for a (VA) Fermi interaction are, to first ordei, inversely proportional to the square of the mass of the intermediate boson. These deviations for certain electron and photon energies may be substantial enough to enable an approximate determination of the mass of the vector boson.
