Abstract

We develop a method to calculate radiative corrections to two-photon reactions of the type e +e − → e +e −X where X is an arbitrary final state. To illustrate this we take the example where X stands for a point-like pseudoscalar. It will be shown that our method is an improvement on the standard way in adding real and virtual photon contributions to the (differential) cross sections. This enables us to compute differential and total cross sections to a very high precision and with a minimum of computer time which is not possible by using more conventional methods.
