Abstract
It is shown that the values of m d/ m e and m s/ m μ can be modified by generation changing currents coupled to an extra pair of 5 and 5 Higgs superfields in SU(5) SUSY GUT with soft breaking terms. When Yukawa coupling constants of down-quarks and up-quarks are assumed to be proportional to each other, m t ⋍ 22−26 GeV , m u ⋍ 4.1−8.9 MeV , tan θ 1 ⋍ 0.18−0.40 , and tan θ 2 ∼ tan θ 3 = O( m s/ m b) are obtained.
