Abstract

All the radiative corrections to the particle spectra are calculated to the second order in elementary charge e for the decay K ± → π o + μ ± + ν with finite neutrino mass. The infrared divergent terms arising from the real photon emission process are only partially cancelled by those from the virtual photon processes. Therefore the corrections contain a term which diverges logarithmically at the high energy end of muon (or pion) spectrum. This term is expected to make a significant contribution to the spectra of the pion and the muon if the charged lepton in the final state is relativistic. The ratios of the spectra with finite neutrino mass to that with zero neutrino mass for both muon and pion, and the ratio of energy correlations between them have been calculated.
