Abstract

Radiation is important for daily life and it is required to shielding. Thus in this study, the radiation shielding properties of 90(Se)- (10-x) (Te)-x(Ag) where x = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 mol% glass system have been calculated. For this purposes the Linear absorption coefficient (LAC), half-value length (HVL), tenth-value layer (TVL), mean free path (mfp) have been computed using by the Phy-X/PSD program. In these results the effect of Ag rate is also obtained on the gamma ray shielding properties.
