Abstract
Widely-used terms for concepts and quantities in radiation protection and health physics are defined in this article that is to be used as a glossary for all chapters in the Radiation Protection Section. The definitions were derived from key authorities, including the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP), International Commission on Radiation Units and Measurements (ICRU), and National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements (NCRP).
