Abstract
THE problem of the equilibrium of a dust particle has been discussed by Noerdlinger1. Here, instead of examining the equilibrium of one particle, I consider a spherically symmetric system in which a radiating body is surrounded at some distance by a zone of dust absorbing some of the radiation.
