Abstract

The radiation produced by a point charged particle moving in an arbitrary manner within a waveguide is considered. The field of the particle and the energy which it radiates are found. Special cases of smooth change in particle velocity along a finite trajectory segment parallel to the waveguide axis and instantaneous change in particle velocity are considered.
