Abstract
The radiation-induced polymerization of acrylamide in ethanol has been studied. By this method, the aqueous solution of PAM at certain concentration and pH value has been successfully applied into the medical x-ray film emulsion as a covering agent. The utilization of product mentioned above can maintain the same quality of medical x-ray film, but also remarkably decreases the consumption of silver in the production of them.
