Abstract

Abstract The aim of the present chapter is to investigate the problem of Study on MHD boundary layer flow over a moving vertical porous plate with heat generation and chemical reaction in the presence of thermal absorption. The governing equations of the flow are transformed into nonlinear ordinary differential equations and then solved by using Runge-Kutta-fourth order along with shooting method. Comparison between the existing literature and the present study was carried out and found to be in excellent agreement. The influence of the various parameters like Magnetic parameter (M), thermal Grashof number (Gr), mass Grashof number (Gc), permeability parameter (K), Prandtl number (Pr), Dufour number (Df), Soret number (Sr), Schmidt number (Sc), Heat generation (B), Radiation Parameter (Ra) and Chemical reaction (Ch) on the flow are analyzed and discussed through graphs in detail. The values of the skin friction coefficient, Nusselt number and the Sherwood number for different physical parameters are also tabulated.
