Abstract

The radiation emission of the converter must be controlled below the standard limit to avoid affecting the normal operation of other electronic equipment nearby. In order to solve the problem that there is a big difference between the no-load radiated emission test and the actual situation in the conventional test method, a load radiated emission test method is proposed to simulate the actual application of the converter. According to the requirements of radiated emission test of high-power converter, a high-voltage and high-power EMC anechoic chamber is designed and built, and equipped with power supply and loading system. The design of the test system solves the requirements of the anechoic chamber to adapt to the power input and output of high-power converter. The key points of the design are to add auxiliary high voltage shielding chamber, design high power filter, eliminate residual voltage, output PWM wave protection and so on. Through the connection with the power supply and load outside the anechoic room, the test system can complete the radiated emission level test of the converter under different working conditions. By testing the performance of EMI anechoic chamber, the background noise and NSA indexes meet the requirements of relevant standards. The success and promotion of the test method can evaluate the radiated emission level more accurately according to the actual situation.
