Abstract
This paper investigates the probability of a radar being able to resolve two point-targets in an environment in which additive noise is the primary limitation on resolution. The statistical properties of the radar cross-ambiguity function are developed and used to arrive at an expression for the target resolution probability. The analysis is verified through simulations.
