Abstract

In this paper, a radar signal sorting method based on image processing and Hough transform is proposed. There are three steps of this method: 1. Map the radar signal to an image, then analyze the image feature model of different radar signals; 2. Preprocess the signals to reduce the interferences from the complex electromagnetic environment and classify the radar signals by Hough transform and other image processing methods; 3. Extract the radar parameters by the Least Squares Methods (LSM) to complete the radar signal sorting in the complex electromagnetic environment. Simulations are carried out and the results show that with the proposed method, high accuracy of sorting radar signals is achieved, meanwhile compared to the traditional methods, anti-noise performance of the system is also improved. Therefore, this method is suitable for radar sorting in complex electromagnetic environment with various types of interferences and pulse loss.
