Abstract
The problem of selection of compact objects of interest in speckle radar images is considered. The phenomenological model for speckles is analyzed, the relationship between the model parameters and the descriptors of the correlation properties of speckles is investigated. An algorithm for modeling objects of interest using speckle structures is proposed. An algorithm for selecting objects using multi-threshold processing in model and real speckle radar images is investigated.
