Abstract

When echoes of micromotion targets are corrupted with only randomly positioned samples due to interference or sensor failure, the state-of-art radar imaging techniques become invalid. To solve this problem, this paper constructs the nonparametric dictionary in the joint time-frequency domain and then proposes the modified augmented Lagrangian method to obtain the range-instantaneous Doppler (RID) imaging. Simulation results have shown that the proposed method can obtain well-focused imaging of micromotion targets with relatively low computational burden.
