Abstract

High Resolution Range Profile (HRRP) is very valuable for radar automatic target recognition. However, the HRRP synthesized by stepped frequency signals may be affected a lot by the speed error. As a result, the performance of radar automatic target recognition would be reduced. To solve this problem, we propose a novel HRRP restoration method based on Conditional Generative Adversarial Networks (CGAN). Simulation results show that this method performs well when the speed error is around 20 m/s.
